NNSA deputy nominee visits Los Alamos

Jerald Paul, left, nominee for the National Nuclear Security Administration's principal deputy administrator post, receives overview briefings from Gerald Schlapper, right, senior safety adviser, and Chris Steele, senior authorization basis manager, during a meeting at NNSA's Los Alamos Site Office on Thursday. NNSA Administrator Linton Brooks has nominated Paul to the top deputy post. While in Los Alamos, Paul also received briefings from senior Lab managers and toured several facilities and technical areas. Today, Paul is scheduled to meet with Laboratory Director G.
