Lab reception honors local legislatorsTrio secured state funds for Math and Science Academy Math and Science Academy master teacher Carol Brown, standing, talks with State Rep. The Lab hosted the reception to honor the three legislators for securing a $200,000 state appropriation for the Math and Science Academy, which is now in its fourth year of operation in schools in Mora, Chama, Española and Pojoaque. The state appropriation will help the Lab expand the academy to a fifth school district.
