Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos has re-instituted the tradition of classified colloquia on technical topics important to the Laboratory's national security programs. The first of several monthly talks is scheduled today. Registration is required.

Seymour Sack, retired weapons designer from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, will deliver the inaugural colloquium, "Modern Primary Development at Livermore: History, Highlights, Tools and Intangibles," at 1:10 p.m., in the Administration Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3.

Nanos said the goal of the monthly series of seminars is to disseminate important and interesting information on classified scientific topics to Los Alamos technical staff members.
