PTLA training exercises Thursday, Saturday near TA-18, 55

The Laboratory and Protection Technology Los Alamos is conducting large-scale training exercises involving armed personnel using simulated weapons on Thursday in and around Technical Area 18. Additional training exercises are planned Saturday in and around TA-55.

The exercises will not involve road closures or restriction of normal activities in the area. Employees working in this area should be aware of that these exercises are taking place but should otherwise disregard the training activities.
