New Policy Office town hall meeting Wednesday

The Laboratory's new Policy Office is hosting its third town hall-style meeting at 10 a.m., Wednesday in the Physics Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3. The meeting is open to Laboratory badge holders.

According to Policy Office Director Diana Webb, participants will discuss the Laboratory's proposed interim process for developing institutional policies and procedures. Institutional policies and procedures are policies and procedures that apply to all personnel who work at the Laboratory or Laboratory employees who work at other locations.

Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos recently created the Policy Office. The office has developed a Web page and an online Policy Center.

More information about the new Policy Office and the center can be found at http://int.lanl.gov/policies/ online or by writing to policy@lanl.gov by electronic mail. For more information, see the Nov. 13, 2003 Daily Newsbulletin.
