Tuesday, March 2, 2004 Requirements for accountable classified removable electronic mediaTo ensure that classified removable electronic media (CREM) is protected as effectively as possible, the Laboratory has developed a set of common requirements for CREM in conjunction with the University of California and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. These new requirements have been issued as the "University of California Policy on Accountable Classified Removable Electronic Media." The requirements contained in the above-referenced UC policy are being incorporated into the classified matter protection and control attachments of the Classified Security LIR. The requirements contained in this notice shall remain in effect until the revised requirements are incorporated into the Classified Security LIR 406-00-02, and its attachments.
