Lab co-hosts public meeting Tuesday in Dixon

The Laboratory, the New Mexico Environment Department and the New Mexico Department of Health are hosting a public meeting Tuesday evening at the Dixon Elementary School to discuss the "Health and Environmental Impacts of the Cerro Grande Fire." The information presented is expected to track earlier, similar meetings in other Northern New Mexico communities.

Presentations will be made by officials from all three entities, followed by a question and answer session. Poster displays will include air quality, soils and crop monitoring.

The meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

For more information, contact Paul Schumann in the Risk Reduction and Environmental Stewardship (RRES) Division office at 7-5840.
