Cybersecurity awareness day Tuesday at Lab

Talk, information booth at Study Center

Information booths and a talk by noted cybersecurity expert Bill Neugent will highlight Cybersecurity Awarness Day from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday in the J. Robert Oppenheimer Study Center at Technical Area 3. The event is open to all Laboratory workers.

Booths will be set up in the North Gallery on the second floor of the study center and will include information on home computing security, information architecture, electronic software delivery, general security information from Security Integration (S-2), vulnerability scanning, protected transmission systems and a host of other topics.

At 9 a.m. in the Cochiti/Jemez meeting rooms on the second floor of the Study Center Neugent will give a talk titled, "Cyberterrorism-We're Toast." Neugent is one of the nation's leading cybersecurity strategists and author of a cyberterrorism novel, "No Outward Sign." Following the talk Neugent will be available to answer questions and sign copies of the book.
