Organizational development expert Betsy Brandt talks at the Breakthrough Science workshop last Thursday at the Canyon School Complex. Brandt, a retired geophysicist, is now a professional trainer who developed the workshop, which is designed to give Laboratory technical staff members insight into methods for improving chances for achieving scientific breakthroughs. The workshop was cosponsored by Science and Technology Base (STB) Programs Office and Training and Development (HR-TD).

The workshop participants will meet again in December to report on what tools they used from the workshop and how it has made a difference in their Laboratory research.
