Nominations accepted for postdoc distinguished performance awards

The Laboratory is accepting nominations for Postdoctoral Distinguished Performance awards for the 2003 fiscal year. The awards recognize individual postdoctoral researchers or teams of no more than three Postdoctoral researchers who have made an outstanding and unique contribution resulting in a positive and significant impact on the Laboratory's programmatic/organizational efforts or status in the scientific community.

Nominations are for distinguished performance during the 2003 fiscal year, which ended Sept. 30. However, there can be overlap for work that began in fiscal year 2002 and was completed in fiscal year 2003.

An all-employee memo from Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos details eligibility and nomination requirements. The deadline to submit a nomination is 5 p.m., Dec. 4.
