Tuesday, October 28, 2003 Share a holiday traditionThe back page of the biweekly Los Alamos NewsLetter for the week of Dec. 8 will be filled with short (25 words or fewer) descriptions of special holiday activities that have become traditions for members of the Laboratory work force and their families. The page will showcase the diversity of holidays celebrated at year's end (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, etc.) and the personal traditions that make these celebrations special to Lab employees. The names and organizations of Lab workers submitting traditions that are used will be published. Employees also can, if they wish, send a photo of folks doing their traditional "thing." Employees can send "short" descriptions of their special holiday traditions by Nov. 17 to Judy Goldie, associate editor, Los Alamos NewsLetter, Mail Stop C177 or write to goldie@lanl.gov by electronic mail.
