Homeland, defense officials visit Los Alamos

Paul McHale, center, assistant secretary of defense for homeland defense for the Department of Defense, talks with Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos and Don Cobb, right, associate Laboratory director for threat reduction (ADTR) last Thursday at Technical Area 66. McHale and other homeland and defense department officials were at Los Alamos to receive briefings on Laboratory homeland defense efforts. They also toured and watched demonstrations of operations at TA-18.

 

Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos gave welcoming remarks and a Laboratory overview to officials from the Homeland and Defense departments at the Lab's Center for Homeland Security at TA-66.
