Employees flock to Fuller Lodge for book fair, kickoff of '04 United Way campaign

Nancy Boudrie of the Applied Physics (X) Division took advantage of the deals offered on books, games, toys and bath and beauty products at the 2004 United Way campaign kickoff event Monday at Fuller Lodge. A portion of the proceeds from the book fair goes to the United Way. The Laboratory's 2004 United Way giving campaign, "Caring that Changes our Communities," continues through Nov. 14. The book fair continues from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., today through Thursday in the Otowi Building at Technical Area 3.
Bob Velasco of Integrated Business Systems (FWO-IBS) provided the musical entertainment at Monday's United Way kickoff event. To read an all-employee memo about the giving campaign from Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos, click here (Adobe Acrobat Reader required). For information about the campaign, see Monday's Daily Newsbulletin. Photos by LeRoy N. Sanchez, Public Affairs
