Monday, September 8, 2003 September Research Library newsletter now onlineThe September issue of the Research Library (STB-RL) newsletter is now online. The newsletter contains information about services, resources and programs offered by the library, which is located in the J. Robert Oppenheimer Study Center at Technical Area 3. Lab technical staff members and others interested in particle research have a new online resource, Interactions.org. The Web page provides headlines from the latest news wires and other sources. It is updated and maintained by a number of particle research laboratories. The Bulletin of Earthquake Engineering and the American Journal of Science are just two of the new electronic journals available at STB-RL. This month's issue has electronic links to these and other new publications. This issue also updates library patrons - in words and pictures - on a remodeling project under way that when finished, will create additional space for book and journal collections in the library's lower level. And STB-RL is hosting free training on Wednesday, Sept. 10 on online Knovel interactive books and databases. Read about the training in this month's issue. To read the Research Library newsletter, go to http://lib-www.lanl.gov/libinfo/news/news.htm online. Past issues also are available.
