Assembly racks come down

A crane removes the top of an assembly rack at Technical Area 3 last month. Infrastructure Projects' (FWO-IP) Decontamination and Decommissioning team and Clauss Construction are removing the racks, located next to West Jemez Road and west of the Otowi Building. The scrap metal from the towers will be taken to a recycling center in Albuquerque. Work continues this weekend; West Jemez Road will be shut down from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, go to the June 18 Daily Newsbulletin. Photo by Joe Louck, FWO-IP
