Friday, May 16, 2003 UC issues guidelines on severe acute respiratory syndromeThe University of California recently issued guidelines to assist campus officials in dealing with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. The guidelines will help officials adhere to recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. The UC guidelines strongly advise students, faculty and staff to postpone nonessential travel to SARS-affected regions until CDC travel advisories are lifted for those areas.
