Swivel hoist rings and MicroVersa TripPlus safety warnings issued

The Crosby Group, Inc., a manufacturer of hoisting, lifting and rigging equipment, has issued a notice of potential hazard to all users of Crosby Swivel Hoist Rings.

GE Industrial Systems has identified a potential defective component condition in MicroVersa trip units used with low-voltage circuit breakers. If present, this defect will result in failure of the breaker to trip under overload, ground fault and short circuit conditions.
