Nuclear power in 21st Century panel discussion Wednesday at LabExperts on nuclear energy will gather at the Laboratory's Physics Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3 on Wednesday for a public forum on "Nuclear Power in the 21st Century." Panelists include Per Peterson, chairman of the Nuclear Engineering Department at the University of California, Berkeley; Vic Reis, former head of Department of Energy Defense Programs and now a consultant for Science Applications International Corp.; James Duderstadt, president emeritus of the University of Michigan; and Richard Stratford, director of the Office of Nuclear Energy at the State Department. The panel discussion begins at 1:30 p.m. and is part of the Laboratory's 60th anniversary celebration. The event is open to all Laboratory workers.
