Wednesday, April 23, 2003 Memorial service Friday for Lab retiree LynnA memorial service for Laboratory retiree David K. Lynn is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in Rio Rancho. Lynn, 71, died April 11. He was living in Corrales. The service is in St. Francis Episcopal Church, 2903 19th Ave., in Rio Rancho. Lynn was an electrical engineer who worked at Los Alamos from 1976 until his retirement in 1988. He later worked for General Motors in Santa Barbara, Calif., and returned to New Mexico in 1999. Lynn worked in the former Ordnance (E) Division. A Korean War veteran, Lynn worked in Los Alamos' fuel cell technology for vehicles program. Lynn earned bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
