Tuesday, April 1, 2003 DOE issues report on audit of personnel security clearancesA Department of Energy Office of Inspector General report on personnel security clearances and badge access controls has lauded the Laboratory's work in the recovery of badges. The site management of badge recovery and clearance termination looked at four DOE facilities, including Los Alamos. Of the four sites subject to audit, Los Alamos had no discrepancies in the number of returned badges from workers who terminated employment at those sites.
