Documentation requirements for unclassified foreign visits and assignments

General Security LIR (406-00-01) Attachment 5 "Unclassified Foreign Visits and Assignments" contains requirements that must be implemented when an uncleared foreign national conducts work at or visits the Laboratory.

This notice contains additional documentation requirements that must be presented at the time of arrival at the Lab or when renewing a visit or assignment. Uncleared-foreign national visitors or assignees must present to the Foreign Visits and Assignments team (Internal Security Office) their U.S. immigration documents and/or visa to ensure that their stay in the United States at the time of initial visit or assignment or subsequent renewals is formally validated.
