Requirements for transporting hazardous materials during Security Condition 2

The requirements contained in LIR 405-10-01 "Packaging and Transportation" represent the baseline for transporting hazardous materials at the Laboratory.

However, when the Lab enters a heightened security condition, additional requirements for transporting hazardous materials are implemented.

This notice establishes additional requirements for transfering hazardous materials when the Lab is at a heightened security level.

Additional information about Lab policy governing shipping under heightened security can be found at http://int.lanl.gov/security/sec-con/level-2-shipping-haz.pdf online. (Adobe Acrobat Reader required)
