Tree thinning starts today along NM 501 and the fitness trail

The Laboratory's Cerro Grande Rehabilitation Project (FWO-CGRP) will be conducting thinning operations along the east side of NM 501 today through Friday (Feb. 28).

Sections of the fitness trail located in this area will be closed during this time. The CGRP will be using flaggers and caution tape to mark areas that are closed because of the scheduled work. Lab workers should avoid these areas during this time.

For more information, call Aimee Blanchard of Risk Reduction and Environmental Stewardship (RRES) Division at 7-6861.
