Deadline is Friday for nominations to Lab's Diversity Affirmative Action BoardUniversity of California Laboratory employees have until Friday to apply for a vacancy on the Lab's Diversity Affirmative Action Board.Applicants must be a University of California Lab employee and prospective members are asked to commit approximately 10 percent of their work time to board meetings and activities. The prospective member's organization will fund the work time spent on DAAB activities, thus demonstrating one aspect of the organization's commitment to diversity. Before selection, all prospective members must obtain their respective manager's written agreement to this time commitment. The Diversity Affirmative Action Board meets from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month. Other meetings are called as necessary.
