New issue of Actinide Research Quarterly now online

The discovery of unexpected superconductivity in a plutonium compound and the connection between nuclear material accountability and cookie dough are two of the subjects covered in the latest issue of "Actinide Research Quarterly " now online.

The fall/winter 2002 issue also includes historical overviews of the Hanford and Savannah River sites and a discussion of nondestructive assay techniques developed at Los Alamos that help keep track of plutonium and uranium.

The fall/winter 2002 issue of Actinide Research Quarterly can be found at http://www.lanl.gov/orgs/nmt/nmtdo/AQarchive/AQhome/AQhome.html online.

Last year, Actinide Research Quarterly received an Award of Excellence from the Society for Technical Communications.
