New issue of Actinide Research Quarterly now online

The discovery of unexpected superconductivity in a plutonium compound and the connection between nuclear material accountability and cookie dough are two of the subjects covered in the latest issue of "Actinide Research Quarterly " now online.

The fall/winter 2002 issue also includes historical overviews of the Hanford and Savannah River sites and a discussion of nondestructive assay techniques developed at Los Alamos that help keep track of plutonium and uranium.
