Eye in the sky ... and moreThe latest issue of DOE Pulse is available online. Pulse is an online newsletter about accomplishments at the Department of Energy's national laboratories. The highlights are short and written to be very understandable. In addition to the highlights, each issue features two longer articles -- one about a researcher and one about a multilab collaborative effort. Some of the headlines in this issue are "Diagnostic tools for solar cells" from National Renewable Energy Laboratory, "Mass spec for proteomics" from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, "Telerobotics for cleanup" from Oak Ridge National Laboratory and "Processor for fuel cells" from the National Energy Technology Laboratory. There also is a feature on Los Alamos' eye in the sky climate data collection project and a profile of Vince Cianciolo of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Other Headlines America Recycles Day is today more... Lab's United Way campaign ends today more... Russian Nuclear Safety Institute director visits Los Alamos more... Westbound lanes of Trinity Drive to close for gas line replacement more... Eye in the sky ... and more more... |
