Wednesday, October 9, 2002 Laboratory Director talks about 2003 health care plan changes in all employee memoLaboratory Director John Browne on Tuesday issued an all-employee memo regarding changes to health-care programs for University of California Lab employees next year.The memo discusses in general terms planned premium increases for all UC Lab employees and efforts by the university and the National Nuclear Security Administration to keep down the rate of premium increases for 2003. Browne will talk about open enrollment from 11 a.m. to noon, Oct. 30, in the Administration Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3. The talk is open to all UC Lab employees and also will be shown on Labnet Channel 9. Open enrollment for UC Lab personnel this year is scheduled for Nov. 1-30. University of California employees and retirees should receive open enrollment packets at their homes the week of Oct. 21. In addition, Benefits and Employment Services (HR-B) is sponsoring a Benefits Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Nov. 6, in the Otowi Building Cafeteria side rooms at Technical Area 3.
