Report of alleged falsified certifications of heat treat and inspection processes at Temperform USA

Temperform USA, a California based heat treat company, has been investigated for providing falsified certifications of heat treat and inspection processes to the Department of Defense, NASA contractors, commercial and civilian aircraft customers and possibly the Department of Energy and DOE contractors.

The Department of Defense has noted numerous part failures, investigated Temperform, and determined that the company, beginning in May 1998 through at least September 2001, falsified the heat treatment of numerous items. The investigation concerns the falsification of all aspects of the heat treat and quality inspection processes.
