Monday, September 23, 2002 "Our Common Good 2002" highlights Lab's accomplishments in regionThe Community Relations Office (CRO) recently published a report to the communities of Northern New Mexico titled "Our Common Good 2002." The annual report represents a sampling of Laboratory efforts that contribute to the region and is designed to inform regional neighbors of some of the Lab's accomplishments.In an introductory message, Laboratory Director John Brown said, "While we fulfill an important mission for the nation, we also believe in taking care of important needs here at home. We are your neighbors, your friends and your colleagues. We are people who live in and support the surrounding economies and who value the same quality of life that all Northern New Mexicans hold so dear." "The publication was produced specifically for Northern New Mexico communities because they are our neighbors and we have a stake in supporting the economic, academic and cultural life of our region," said Christina Armijo, CRO leader.
