Recognizing student excellence

Nathaniel Morgan was a recipient of a student Distinguished Performance Award. Mackie, an associate professor of mechanical engineering at Tulane University, also is a motivational speaker who operates his own consulting firm and streamlining video Web site, which specializes in motivating young people to succeed.
