Brooks named acting NNSA administrator

Linton Brooks has been named the acting administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration. He will replace Gen. John Gordon, who recently accepted a position with the National Security Council.

The announcement on Brooks was made Monday by Spencer Abraham, Department of Energy secretary. Brooks is currently deputy administrator for defense nuclear nonproliferation at the NNSA.
