Construction continues on new EOC buildingClifford Frank Jr. of Farmington works on one of the walls of the new Emergency Operations Center at Technical Area 69. Sun Valley Masonry of Phoenix is one of the subcontract companies working on the new facility, which is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2003. The new EOC will house not just the Laboratory's Emergency Management and Response (S-8) operations, but also Los Alamos County, the neighboring pueblos, the National Guard, the State Police, the Red Cross, the Department of Energy and New Mexico Emergency Management.
