Friday is deadline to submit nominations for new Diversity/Affirmative Action BoardUniversity of California Laboratory employees have until Friday to submit nominations to serve on the new Diversity/Affirmative Action Board.The call for nominations was made recently by Lisa Gutierrez, Diversity Office (DVO) director, and Amy Sahota, Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) director. The new Diversity/Affirmative Action Board replaces the existing Labwide Diversity Council. Diversity working groups that represent various gender and ethnic groups at the Lab remain in place. Nominations should be sent to Danny Valdez in DVO at Mail Stop M894 or by fax to 7-6404. For more information on the new Diversity/Affirmative Action Board, see the June 19 Daily Newsbulletin.
