Thursday, June 13, 2002 Editor's Note: As part of National Men's Health Week, the Wellness Center (HSR-2) has partnered with the Men's Health Network to promote year-round men's health. All this week a bulletin board display at the Wellness Center at Technical Area 3 will highlight information on men's health and wellness. Displays also will be set up at additional locations around the Laboratory. The Wellness Center also has Men's Maintenance Manuals, screening guides and other men's health related brochures. All this week, the Daily Newsbulletin is publishing a men's health tip. For more information, contact the Wellness Center at 7-7166.
Nutrition and weight controlAim for a healthy weight. If you are at a healthy weight, aim to avoid weight gain. If you are overweight, first try to prevent further weight gain and then lose weight gradually (1/2 to 2 pounds per week).Tips:
