Information regarding health benefits for opposite-sex domestic partnersAs a result of action by the University of California Board of Regents to extend certain retirement benefits to eligible UC employees with same-sex or opposite-sex domestic partners, the university is receiving inquiries about whether UC-sponsored health and welfare benefits will be extended to opposite-sex domestic partners. Same-sex domestic partners of UC employees are currently eligible to receive UC-sponsored medical, dental and vision benefits. To read full news release, click here.
