Monday, May 13, 2002 Parking lots near Otowi Building closed to employee parking on FridayBecause of the scheduled dedication of the Nicholas C. Metropolis Center for Modeling and Simulation, the parking lots on Pajarito Road immediately west of the Otowi Building will be closed to employee parking all day this Friday (May 17). Essential business operations will be allowed access through the security checkpoint on Pajarito Road, subject to the parking restrictions. On Friday only, the Laboratory has made arrangements with the Los Alamos Research Park for Lab workers to park on the back half of the parking lot east of the Research Park north of West Jemez Road. Other parking in the Technical Area 3 vicinity also is available. There also are shuttle buses available to transport Lab workers from outlying parking areas. For more information, call 7-7006.
