Tuesday, April 23, 2002 American Indian Heritage month panel discussion Wednesday at Los Alamos Inn"Diversity within local Southwestern American Indian Tribes" is the focus of a panel discussion at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday as part of the Laboratory's observance of American Indian Heritage Month.Panelists include Laboratory retiree Gilbert Suazo, a Taos pueblo member and former lieutenant governor, Lorene Willis, director of the Jicarilla Apache Nation Culture Center, Robert Johnson a Navajo cultural specialist and Jeronima G. Ortiz of the San Juan Pueblo Indian Education support staff. The panel discussion is in the Peace Pipe Room of the Los Alamos Inn on Trinity Drive and is open to all Laboratory workers. American Indian Heritage Month is sponsored by the American Indian Diversity Working Group and the Diversity (DVO) Office.
