Threat
Reduction workshop at Lab will focus on knowledge and information management,
decision support
The Threat Reduction Directorate is sponsoring a workshop for
interested Laboratory employees on April 9, to address national challenges
post-Sept. 11, 2001, in the areas of data mining, information processing,
knowledge management and decision support. The workshop will be held from
8 a.m. to noon in the Materials Science Technology Large Conference Room
at Technical Area 3. Full story
Protective force training exercises scheduled for
Friday
The Laboratory and Protection Technology Los Alamos are scheduled to conduct
several large-scale training exercises involving armed personnel using
simulated weapons on Friday in and around Technical Area 16. Lab personnel
working in this area should be aware of these exercises taking place and
disregard the training activities. The exercises shouldn't affect any
emergency traffic.

The Laboratory's Small Business Program Office (BUS-SBO) and the Northern
New Mexico Supplier Alliance are hosting a small business trade fair from
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Otowi Building cafeteria side rooms at
