Observation of unique lightning earns Nature cover, leads researcher to join the Lab
On a warm tropical evening last September, Los Alamos atmospheric physicist Mark Stanley, along with Penn State's Victor Pasko, were in Puerto Rico working on a joint proposal between the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Penn State and Stanford universities to study lightning. Implementation of the foreign travel component
The Science & Technology Base - Foreign Travel (STB-FT) Office discontinued using the paper submittal of foreign travel requests, and is now utilizing the Laboratory's travel system, Foreign Travel Component (FTC), for processing all foreign travel requests. Full story
