![]() Latest Los Alamos News Letter is being distributedScheduled to appear in mailboxes and newstands today, the March 7 issue of the Los Alamos News Letter features the Lab's Enterprise Project headed up by Charles Slocomb. Formerly called the Enterprise Resource Project, this team is improving institutional efficiency through standardizing administrative functions such as financial records, time-and-effort reporting, project management and facility maintenance. Laboratory Director John Browne discusses the Lab's "outstanding" report card from the Department of Energy and there is an article on the new Spot Award program, one on pilot grants that provide start-up funding for new hires and a caution from the Internal Security Office regarding unofficial travel and the DOE's-designated "Sponsors of Terrorism" list. News of a native New Mexican who has been sworn in as the deputy administrator for defense programs at the National Nuclear Security Administration, Lab engineer Paul Pan's national recognition award and achievements of a myriad of employees round out the issue.
