Research on Bose-Einstein Condensates, quantum simulations and fault-tolerant quantum computing are important research areas in the group. Our work on single photon sensors has received interest from many potential sponsors and users. A large effort in quantum key distribution is led by technical staff in P-21. The Laboratory is an acknowledged world leader in this area.
