John Armijo has provided professional Ombuds services at Los Alamos National Laboratory since 2004. John also serves as the Laboratory’s Tech Transfer Ombuds, and coordinates the Employee Resource Council, a group of volunteers who provide conflict resolution services at NMT Division.
Before joining the Laboratory, John provided conflict resolution services to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Southwest Region. During his tenure with the Fish & Wildlife Service, John participated on the Regional Executive Team, and was the founding Chair of the Albuquerque/Santa Fe Federal Executive Board Interagency Shared Neutrals Program. John also previously maintained a private law practice, worked as a Full-time EEO Counselor/Mediator, and has had the opportunity to mediate many employment-related disputes since he became a mediator in 1992.
