Team description:

Electronic structure of 4f and 5f materials is the main research area of the Photoelectron Spectroscopy team at MPA-10. We utilize high energy and momentum resolution analyzers to perform Angle Resolved Photoemission studies of 4f materials and Uranium compounds, using synchrotron radiation and He lamp as excitation sources. For transuranic materials we employ Laser Plasma Light Source and angle-integrated analyzer. The first Angle Resolved measurement system for transuranic materials is coming up online in 2007.
