Electrical Safety Workshop

DOE/EFCOG Electrical Safety Workshops

The Electrical Safety Meeting and Workshop was first held in 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, hosted by Sandia National Laboratories and had 150 attendees from 25 sites. In 2008, the workshop was held in Golden, Colorado, hosted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and also had over 150 attendees from most all DOE sites plus other Federal and industrial participants. In 2009, the workshop was held in Tri-Cities, Washington, hosted by the Hanford Site contractors, and had a record at nearly 200 participants. This electrical safety meeting/workshop has been a great success with excellent speakers and workshops.

The meeting /workshop is a merger of the previous summer Electrical Safety Meeting (held in summers in Las Vegas up until 2005) and the DOE R&D Electrical Safety Meeting & Workshop that was held in March of 2004, 2005, and 2006.
