The Laboratory has a legal and ethical responsibility to provide a work environment that is welcoming to the disabled community. For the myriad of issues we must consider, there are a range of solutions. OEOD facilitate the review of these considerations and provides expertise to determine the most appropriate solution.
In addition, we sponsor an annual Technology Expo to raise awareness among the Laboratory workforce of the latest assistive solutions available. The event helps organizations, leaders, and employees find workplace accommodations that are not only reasonable, but often simple and straightforward.
