The new-hire processes for the Laboratory’s three types of employment categories vary. Please select the employment category that corresponds to the offer letter you have received from your Human Resources representative. You will be guided to the necessary requirements for the new-hire period and will need to complete the outlined steps before you can begin to work.

Regular/Term Hires
Los Alamos National Laboratory employees can be of regular or term status and are hired on a full- or part-time basis. Regular employees are employees whose employment is of indefinite duration, while term employees are hired for a specific period of time.
