Computing Operations & Support

The HPC-2 High Performance Computing Support Team (HPCST) is responsible for staffing a 24x7 work schedule that provides real-time monitoring, first level system administration support and problem escalation for the HPSS data storage and retrieval resources that are critical to the Tri-Laboratory (LANL, LLNL, SANDIA)  mission. These duties and responsibilities require interaction with system analysts, developers, vendor support engineers and users. In addition to monitoring data storage systems the team is responsible for managing data storage resources to ensure that the users have sufficient storage capacity for the work and archival data sets.
