Primary research interests include regional verification seismology, discrimination and event classification, and explosion source effects on regional seismic signals that affect nuclear test ban treaty monitoring.

This pictured ascent of Mt. Massive, was the late beloved Bubba's first fourteener...at the tender age of one. Way to go Bubba!

Steve enjoys telemark skiing and golfing with his lovely wife, Pamela, and trail running with his dog, Delilah. His family includes a wonderful daughter, Felicia. Pam and Steve serve as treatment foster care parents for a local child & family development center.

I may be slow, but I do poor work.
