Research and Interests

My research interests include verification seismology, regional wave propagation, source characterization, educational seismology, and infrasound.

As a GRA at LANL, I have been involved in the following projects:
  1) Using Historical Surrogate Station Data to Calibrate IMS and Other Monitoring Stations (with Steve Taylor, now at Rocky Mountain Geophysics).
  2) Development of Regional Phase Tomographic Attenuation Models for Eurasia (with David Yang).

I was born in Roswell, NM (and have heard all the jokes about that), have two pet rabbits, and recently travelled to Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. I enjoy cooking, reading and watching British mysteries, and painting.
